Custom Exotic Hardwood Bowls, Charcuterie and Cutting Boards: Care & Maintenance

Crafted from premium exotic hardwood and finished with food-safe Tried & True Pure Beeswax and Linseed Oil, your wood product is as durable as it is beautiful. Follow these care instructions to preserve its natural beauty:

Care & Maintenance

   •   Cleaning: Gently hand wash with warm water and a mild dish soap. Avoid soaking or using a dishwasher, as excessive moisture can damage the wood.

   •   Drying: Pat dry immediately with a clean towel and allow the board to air dry completely before storing.

 •   Sanitation. To sanitize, mix 1 part white vinegar with 3 parts water. Wipe the board with the solution and rinse with warm water. For tougher odors, sprinkle coarse salt and rub with half a lemon, then rinse and dry.

   •   Conditioning: Reapply a food-safe wood conditioner like beeswax or linseed oil every 2-3 months, or when the board starts to appear dry. Simply rub a small amount onto the surface with a soft cloth, let it absorb, and buff off any excess.

Proper care will keep your custom bowl, charcuterie or cutting board a centerpiece of gatherings for years to come!
